Vision and Mission

Our Vision:

To create a future for children of all abilities where they are included, valued, and empowered to lead themselves, and to unite others toward the common goal of redefining the world around them.

Our Mission:

To teach people within communities to embrace an inclusive culture where children of all abilities realize their strengths and gain the skills required to maximize their potential, explore their purpose, and become leaders who are catalysts for change in their schools and communities.

Values:

  1. The Importance of Community and Inclusion:

It is essential that children develop a sense of belonging and a strong foundation of value and self worth. Pathways is devoted to helping communities gain the knowledge and understanding to appropriately include and embrace children of all abilities and provide experiences and opportunities for children from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs to grow, learn, and lead together.

  2. The Concept of Excellence:

Outcomes dramatically improve when the vision for education, employment, and leadership expectations are held to the highest standards of excellence for every child no matter what their ability level.

  3. Children Teaching Children:

Pathways has adopted the "children teaching children" model as one of the biggest priorities and most important philosophies. Children no matter what their ability need to be included with their peers and taught to work collectively to build and lead the future they will inherit.

  4. Providing Intensive Early Intervention and a Continuum of Services:

Pathways believes all children should be given the opportunity to succeed in life. Pathways finds answers that will proactively support children with disabilities and those who may need extra help to meet their fullest potential. Pathways provides intensive early intervention and a continuum of services tailored to accentuate their strengths and prepare them to lead themselves and others. These services are designed to begin for all children at age three, regardless of ability level and will continue to support and prepare them with the confidence and skills needed for employment, leadership, and the realization of their goals and aspirations as they reach adulthood.

  5. Creating a Spirit of Collaboration and Leadership:

Pathways actively seeks to build partnerships and to collaboratively plan, work, and invest in more innovative, flexible, and affordable solutions for children of all abilities. These initiatives are designed to produce positive and measurable outcomes aimed at helping all children to lead themselves and others toward success and redefining the world around them.
